For what wall thickness are Outbound cabin doors suitable?
Our cabin doors are easy to use in a wall of 60 to 85 millimeters. If the wall thickness is less than 60 millimeters, the wall must be filled and reinforced on the inside by means of a frame. For wall thicknesses above 85 millimeters, the frame does not extend to the interior side of the wall.
Can the lock be made keyed alike with the other products in the order?
The products in your order will have identical locks, unless otherwise specified by you.
Is the cabin door available with either left or right hand opening?
Yes. Please inform us accordingly when you place your order.
Does the cabin door turn toward the living area or toward the driver's cab?
The cabin door swings open to the living area.
Are sizes on demand possible?
The fiberglass-reinforced plastic parts are produced as a single piece using molds. Because of this, we provide beautiful seamless products, but sizes on demand are not available.
Are the products sprayable?
The fiberglass-reinforced plastic parts are gel coated. Sanding these lightly allows the frame to be sprayed without any problems. For this purpose, we can supply the self-adhesive sealing rubbers separately. Please inform us accordingly when ordering.
Durable construction for long-term use of cabin doors
A solid door between the driving area and the living space is not a detail, but a basic requirement. They seal properly, insulate effectively, and withstand moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
The door consists of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) with a core of insulating foam. This construction offers high insulation values and prevents thermal bridging. The plastic locking mechanism is also corrosion-resistant and free from thermal bridges. Thanks to the flush design, the door fits seamlessly with the wall. This simplifies installation and ensures a clean, professional finish. The solid hinges ensure reliable operation, even with frequent use.

Easy installation of cabin doors
The cabin door is delivered as a complete system, ready for immediate installation. Its flush design ensures a tight fit to the vehicle body, with no protruding parts. The hinges are built for durability and designed to perform reliably, even in vehicles that are used intensively.
The door is always installed to open towards the living area, as there is no space in the cabin area to allow for the door swing. Between the cabin and the living space, a bellows or similar flexible seal is used. This prevents the door from being exposed to moisture or dirt from the outside on the cabin side.
For wall thicknesses between 60 and 85 millimetres, the door fits directly. For other dimensions, we can advise on suitable adjustments. Proper installation ensures good sealing, minimal maintenance, and a long service life.
