What wall thicknesses are Outbound roof windows suitable for?
Combined with combi-screen, our skylights are easy to use in a roof of 30 to 85 millimeters. If the roof thickness is less than 30 millimeters, the roof must be filled and reinforced on the inside by means of a frame. With a roof thickness above 85 millimeters, an opening is created between the frame and the roller blind.
Without a combi-screen, our skylights are easy to use in a roof of 35 to 75 millimeters. If the roof thickness is less than 35 millimeters, the roof must be filled and reinforced on the inside by means of a frame. For roof thicknesses above 75 millimeters, the frame does not extend to the interior side of the roof.
Does the roof window come with a roller blind?
The combi-screen is an option added by most customers, but is not necessary. For more information, go to roller blinds.
Are deviating sizes possible?
The fiberglass-reinforced plastic frames and roof window edges are produced as a single piece using molds. As a result, we provide beautiful seamless products, but sizes on demand are not available.
Are the products sprayable?
The fiberglass-reinforced plastic frames and skylight edges are gel coated. Sanding these allows the frame to be sprayed without any problems. For this purpose, we can supply the self-adhesive sealing rubbers separately. Please inform us at point of order.
